A graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (MFA 2005) where he studied Performance and Virtual Reality as fine art forms, Mark was a Producer in interactive media for MeTV, Leo Burnett and on projects for venues like the Museum of Contemporary Art and other markets in and around Chicago for a decade.
He moved into teaching with Tec de Monterrey in Mexico and SOL International School in South Korea. He spent two years with SUNY Polytechnic in their Interactive Media and Game Design department before coming to Albright to take up a dual appointment in Art and Computer Science.
He maintains an active practice as a performer and musician and has a longstanding interest in puppetry and animation.
His deep-field experience in both the fine and commercial arts has instilled in him the conviction that the expression and engendering of feelings is central to all media, everywhere.
