Teaching Assistant at The Clarke School for Hearing and Speech

• Assist lead classroom teacher in the general supervision and management of a class of seven children between the ages of three years to six years of age. • Plan and prepare for activities as they relate specifically to the individual student (i.e., Learning Centers, Art projects). • Organize classroom to meet the language and motor needs as directed by Lead/Classroom Teacher. • Keep communication current with Lead Teacher, Director, School District and family. • Attend all field trips to assist child with support in the development of auditory speech and language skills development as it relates to the theme of the field trip. • Attend required Staff and related meetings.
