Mattea McDonald
I'm a sophomore at Le Moyne College, studying what I love and hoping to pursue a career in that field. I want to write and publish articles about the happenings around the world in order to keep the people informed. I hope to inspire someone someday to believe in their own writing and to pursue whatever they put their mind to. I also hope to develop my own writing style and learn everything I possibly can about journalism.
In order to learn new things, I've involved myself in multiple different on-campus publications, as well as starting my own branch on The Odyssey Online here at Le Moyne alongside a good friend of mine.

I assist our librarians with shelving, shelf reading, and inventory projects, as well as helping patrons when they have questions about the library, library materials, or anything else they may be wondering about. In this position, we also work with the Innovative Millennium system in order to organize books and other materials.

Currently helping with all not-for-profit administrative duties alongside the head of the organization. My main duties include assisting with fundraising, including writing grants and seeking prospective donors, as well as reaching out to local businesses for advertising purposes.
