Matthew Feiler was recognized for earning an academic award
I am honored to announce that I was awarded an 'Outstanding Senior Award' from Ithaca The Roy H. Park School of Communications at Ithaca College. This award is given to students in the Television-Radio (TVR) program who have performed at an outstanding level during their college career. Only six students, who were enrolled in the Television-Radio Program, were presented with this award. I was chosen as recipient of this award due to my GPA status, participating as an active member in my courses, and involving myself in different extra-circulars. It is a true privilege to have received this award after dedicating lots of time and hard work during my past four years of college.

I have a weekly DJ shift on WICB, which is one of Ithaca College's radios. During my 2 hour shift, I get to play some great hits, take requests from listeners, and tweet out information about the station. I love my time on the radio, and when I have the chance to grow. I love to broaden the songs I listen to since I get to listen to new hits all the time, as well as expand my knowledge on the artists of the songs that I play!
Judaism is a big part of my life. Coming from a Jewish Day School, I knew that I wanted to continue my involvement within the Jewish Community at College. Hillel is a wonderful place where I can meet and stay connected to other Jewish students, as well as involve myself within social, religious and volunteering experiences.
One show I was a part of was Sauteed, which was a cooking show. I was on audio for the show. During each episode, I had the chance to control the bump music for the show, as well as the microphones and IFB's. The second show I was a part of was called IthaKids. This show was centered around kid friendly news, entertainment, and fun! For this show I was in charge of one of the cameras.
