Matthew Flint

I am working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the AACSB-accredited Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Through the Accounting Association and the Student Association for Fraud Examination on campus, I am diversifying my knowledge of the industry and branching out to both professionals and my peers. By performing scholarly research as an Honors student, I am gaining experience uncovering emerging business issues and strategies. My work-study position in the Provost/Academic Affairs Office has allowed me to become competent in Excel as well as to perform tasks in an efficient way. Last summer, I had the opportunity to conduct various types of transactions at both Weis Markets and Stroud Region Open Space and Recreation Commission. I am looking forward to another productive summer at these businesses. During the winter 2017 semester, I successfully completed a month-long study abroad program at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland. While I was in Europe, I also visited five neighboring countries. By expanding my global outlook, I now feel better prepared to work with individuals from varying backgrounds and to explore more of this world.
