Hello! My name is Maya (they/them), and I am a first-year at RIT. I am a Dual Major in Biotechnology & Molecular Bioscience (BS) and Illustration (BFA). I am a published research author in Frontier's Journal of Educational Psychology, and a certified Biotechnician Assistant. I enjoy hanging out with my cats, volunteering, playing video games, and reading in my free time.

Dr. Andy Langner Endowed Fund Recipient. The Dr. Andy Langner Endowed Fund was established in 2011 in memory of
chemistry professor Andy Langner to acknowledge student nominees that demonstrate resiliency and tenacity during difficult or challenging circumstances. Funding to support a stipend if engaged in research, supplies and equipment forstudent research, or student travel to conferences.
