Melissa Tolbert

Melissa "Missy" Tolbert is the Executive Director for the Constitutional Officers Association of Georgia where she oversees the function of the association which serves the four constitutional officers in each of our 159 counties, Clerks of Superior Court, Judges of Probate Court, Sheriffs, and Tax Commissioners. She is formerly an Event Coordinator for the Institute of Continuing Judicial Education of Georgia and an adjunct instructor on Time Management and Organization for the University of Georgia's Training and Development Department of Human Resources. She enjoys the planning and educational aspect that is essential for professional growth and development. Her experience has ranged from the health care industry as a Patient Care Technician in Cardiology to being more administrative with office management, customer service, sales, bookkeeping and marketing with backgrounds in the Green Industry and the Insurance Restoration and Remodeling Industry. She also has experience with event planning for weddings, milestone anniversary parties and conferences for a non-profit. She is also the Special Events Coordinator for Hull Baptist Church. She attended Georgia State University under the Exercise Science program and is currently attending Athens Technical College pursing an Associates in Business Administration and has been on the ATC President's List for maintaining a 4.0 GPA every semester. She is also a member of the Alpha Tau Zeta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.
