Position duties were to perform inspections for safety and create lists of deficiencies, prepare job estimates for contractors, update as-builts, follow up on construction and repair project planning and execution, and any other task issued by the Facilities Engineer or the Head of Facilities.
The daily tasks completed under my employment included the observation of patrons, maintenance of a safe beach/swimming environment, and cleaning the beach facilities. Additional tasks included lawn mowing, trash cleaning, cleaning debris from the swim area (sticks, stones, etc.), and dragging the beach.

As in the position title, I served as a lifeguard on the waterfront as well as taught merit badges and skills to the scouts. These included kayaking, canoeing, swimming, lifesaving, small boat sailing, and more. In addition to my standard area work, I helped with other regular camp functions.
