Elementary Literacy Tutor at AmeriCorps Iowa ReadingCorps
Working one-on-one with 15-20 students for 20 minutes a day, every day a week, in direct literacy intervention practice to enhance student's ability to read. Of students served in the first year, 70% of my personal students successfully exited the program with scores above their grade literacy goal. My second year, 75% of my personal students successfully exited the program.
