Ensure memorable, and meaningful guest experience by connecting guests with animals and nature through interpretive techniques, inquiry-based exploration, and STEM based activities; mediate inter-guest interactions, provide information regarding zoo programs, exhibits, amenities, and shows Responsible for animal enrichment, interpretation of natural history, adaptations, diet, daily care, and personal histories for a variety of taxa; provide guests with information related to conservation efforts and what they can do to help; assist guests in building empathy for nature through positive animal interactions and up-close encounters Deliver group presentations to diverse, multigenerational audiences about animals, animal welfare, contemporary zookeeping practices, and global conservation efforts Monitoring of pH and chlorine in childs play area water feature; ensure clean, safe, and presentable work area; set-up and cleanup of assigned station; mentor teen volunteers; provide interdepartmental support via miscellaneous tasks as assigned
