I am a single mother, who currently works full-time as an Operational and Quality Manager. I have two children, an 12-year-old middle schooler (daughter) and a 23-year-old senior (son) studying to become a dentist and is actively in the army. Spending time with the homeless and helpless is a passion of mine, along with reading, soccer, and going on hikes. Possibilities to make a meaningful difference in people's lives are vast for those with a background in psychology. As such, I chose Psychology - My career aspiration is to become a mental health professional so that I may assist others in recovering from trauma, managing chronic mental illness, responding to a mental health crisis, or realizing their own potential. I am also working simultaneously on obtaining my DNAP (Doctorate of Nursing Anesthesiologist Practitioner) degree (A little ways to go, but I will get there). I am also actively working on obtaining my real-estate license and have already taken the pre-licensing exam. I will be working on taking the state exam in the near future.
