I have completed training in water rescue skills, breathing and cardiac emergencies, and first aid. I am Lifeguard/CPR/AED/First Aid certified through the American Red Cross.
My duties as a biology intern include: caring for live animal specimens, maintenance of greenhouse facilities, curating the Bard College at Simon's Rock Herbarium with Brahms software, cataloging and identifying dry and wet preserved animal specimens, and organizing laboratory and greenhouse facilities.
As a Proctor at Bard Academy at Simon's Rock, I work to establish and maintain a safe, supportive, and positive living/learning environment in one of the Residential Halls on campus. My work is primarily with younger high-school age students. The Proctor position is run through the Student Life Department at Bard College at Simon's Rock.
I serve both the accelerated beginning and intermediate level German classes as a subject and class tutor on campus. My responsibilities include helping students with learning the fundamental skills of the language through exercises in their homework or study.
