Molly Gallagher

As President, I lead the 33 member Student Government Board which is the Executive Branch of the Student Government Association. I preside over all board meetings and ensure that there is active participation throughout our board to create effective change on our University's campus. As President, I am responsible to represent all 8,550 students at Kutztown University, oversee the budget allocation of $2.2 million to KU Student Services, student clubs and organizations. I am the student voice in many administrative groups, which allows me to able to pass important information to our KU students.

-Organized two successful voter registration drives for the campus community, "Kutztown Votes" -Helped register over 400 students to vote -Kept the students informed with Turbovote services, and alternate options for voting methods

-In honor of Kutztown University's 150th Year Celebration, the 2016 Class Gift was created to help KU graduating students pay it forward. -Committee was a collaborative effort between two Student Government Representatives, and representatives from Kutztown University's Presidential Ambassadors with the help of the KU Alumni Foundation. -Students were able to donate $20.16 towards the 150th Scholarship fund, where they would be able to obtain a pin to wear at their commencement ceremony. -28% giving rate among the 2016 graduating class for this project. -Was a part of Spring 2016 Commencement Ceremony, where a check was presented to the University President, Dr. Kenneth Hawkinson. - http://www.kutztownufoundation.org/alumni/2016-senior-class-gift
