Mia Paletta

I am pursuing a dual degree from Emory University in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and The Georgia Institute of Technology in Biomedical Engineering. I completed coursework for my neuroscience degree in May 2018, and am now working on my biomedical engineering degree at Georgia Tech. I worked in the Emory Brain Research Lab for three years culturing glioblastoma cells, and my work in this lab has made me incredibly interested in traumatic brain injury. Currently, I work in the Systems Neural Engineering Lab studying population dynamics in the rodent motor cortex. I hope to eventually study brain-computer interfaces and how we can use them to help TBI patients.
