Michael DeBrota

I am an undergraduate student at Miami University, currently majoring in Biochemistry. I am currently pursuing a career as a physician with the end goal of working in patient care, either in a private/group practice or in a hospital environment. Within the fields of chemistry and biochemistry, I am especially interested in organic synthesis, molecule design, and drug interaction with biological systems. My other interests include clinical pharmacy, drug development, teaching, green energy, sustainable architecture, singing, musical theatre, and a litany of other fields. I have volunteered at Eskenazi Health in 2017 and at IU Health University Hospital in the summer of 2012. I am a lifelong learner and aspire to be a leader and innovator in my field.
