James Mincy

James Andrew Mincy lives in White Hall, Arkansas. He has been the music librarian at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff for the past twelve years. Mr. Mincy enjoys his job surrounded by music and the opportunity to give back to the future musicians of tomorrow. However, he looks forward to a new career in public administration or nonprofit management, where he hopes to make a more significant impact on the community. Mr. Mincy is a graduate of the University of Central Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Performance. He also received a certificate in grant writing from Fort Hays State University. Mr. Mincy is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, a professional music fraternity, The Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement, and Sigma Alpha Pi leadership honor society. He is currently serving as the Director of Development, Marketing, and Public Relations for HIV Arkansas. Mr. Mincy is a single father of two sons and is passionate about HIV advocacy and adult autism advocacy.
