Miranda Ivey

I am based near Birmingham, Alabama where I run a freelance graphic design business called Miranda Ivey Designs. I offer various services ranging from logo and website design to illustration and stationary-esque work. My Instagram, @MirandaIveyDesigns, includes all of my latest projects as well my website, where I update my work regularly. Through my business, I have had the privilege to work with many amazing clients and have collaborated with several artists ranging from recording artists, photographers, and other businesses. Alongside my graphic design business, I work for my university's recreation and fitness center as their Communications Assistant. I have had the opportunities to design various marketing products for the facility, ranging from flyers and social media advertisements to banners and apparel. I maintain social media analytics monthly to find consistent patterns within the posts I curate and design, as well as keep up with different programs and classes the facility offers. I also work for Sarah OMary Designs as her Social Media Marketing and Design Intern. I post and promote her work and services on Instagram and Facebook daily while maintaining a steady follower growth. I have also had opportunities to design flyers, advertisements, and more for various events through Sarah. I take product photos, keep her followers and audience up to date with new events and classes coming up, and help Sarah as much as possible. I am currently a freshman at Jacksonville State University in the pursuit of a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design. I am the secretary of the Kappa Pi Iota Alpha, which is my university's international art honor society's fraternity chapter, where I participate and take notes of every member and executive officer meeting. While at school, I plan to learn more about not only graphic design, but website design, photography, motion graphics, and more to help utilize the skills I have now for future jobs and projects.
