I have had two internships in the field, one working for the Massachusetts State Police at their respective fusion center and the other working for Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Manchester, New Hampshire. I am a member of the Signature Experiential Leadership Program, which is a two-year program, and I am entering my second year as a member of this program. Signature has been a great experience thus far, it has helped me get more involved on campus, attending events in different core areas each semester, and it has allowed me to be more involved in the community of Manchester on the whole. In addition, I have made a lot of great connections through meeting people in this program as well. This coming year, I will be paired with a professional advisor that relates to my field of study to help me grow professionally and meet my professional goals.

Intern at Holliston Police Department

I was a Student Intern for my local police department during my senior year of high school. This was a course, so I went to my internship for about an hour and a half every day, and then did assignments relating to my experiences. During my internship, I mostly participated in ride-alongs, but I also got to attend some field-based trainings and work with some of the detectives at Holliston PD. I gained a lot of knowledge, and experience through this internship, and everyone that worked with me was especially interested in helping me and teaching me about criminal justice.
