George Wilson

I was born the third of four children to George H. Wilson, a high school educator, and Helen H. Wilson a registered nurse. I currently live and work in the Moore County, North Carolina, the county of my birth. I am married to the former Phyllis Lucas, also a native of my Moore County. We are parents to two children, 27 year old Kiesla Wilson-Taylor, a board certified dental assistant, who is married and the late George H. Wilson, III who die at age 12 from the complications of Type 2 Diabetes. We have one grandchild, Khole, born June, 2013. We have had the distinct pleasure of nurturing two nieces, Jasmine Lucas, a 24 year old third year law student, and Sophia Lucas, a 22 year old certified nursing assistant. We have also welcomed six foster children into our home over the years. I am currently employed at a K-8 charter school. My position title is Director of Student Affairs. Under the direction of our chief administrator (principal), I am responsible for student conduct issues, security and transportation. Also, I act as Behavior Support Liaison for seven students under a NCDPI Exception Child program designated as PRC-29. Each of these students have an Individual Education Plan and have particular behavior concerns. I have performed these duties since February 2, 2011.
