Athena Malott

I am a 20 year old mother of one and wife of four years. My husband and I have been self -sufficient since age 15 and have built our lives up on our own. After being a stay at home wife for the first year of our marriage, I decided to return to school my junior year. I completed my first three years of high school in one year, with honors, during my complicated pregnancy. After Graduating my senior year with over a 3.0 ,at a Virtual Charter Academy, I took my ACT and received a cumulative score of 27. I graduated my senior year and was also a stay at home mother that year. I am currently attending ECU full time as a Double Major with a Minor. Furthermore, I will be attending ASL and will have taken all the requirements for a sign minor as my extracurricular classes. After classes I come home and take care of my two year old while my husband works. I am hoping to receive my Masters in Clinical Psychology and my PhD in English with a concentration in Philosophy, which I will be completing in Switzerland.
