My research focuses on the following areas:
1. Field, seismic, and model studies of three-dimensional fault-related fold geometries, with special emphasis on terminations, oblique ramps, lateral ramps, and transfer zones in contractional settings.
2. Map and cross-section visualization and analysis.
3. Lateral and vertical variations in fault displacement and in fold strain distribution.
4. Computer-based instructional technology for the earth sciences, including GIS and Google Earth.
