Here is what I could immediately bring to the table:
An effective leader: Through my experience in the United States Army, I excel. I am also able to showcase coaching abilities as a team leader in my assigned section. By having newly appointed soldiers under my control, I am able to render guidance towards success and assist these soldiers when needed. In addition to leading these service men and women, I have also built strong relationships with each one by knowing them on a personal level.
A disciplined scholar: I have always displayed my careful approach to education by working to my fullest potential in my studies. At Hudson Valley Community College, I frequently remain in good standing, but am constantly looking for new methods to improve myself. In addition, I had the opportunity to cross enroll with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in order to participate in the ROTC program, which further shows my dedication to the Armed Forces and commitment to education.
A passionate and motivated individual: Everything I have engaged in so far has all been driven by my keen interest in improving the community and helping those in need. Even as a soldier, I make sure to dedicate some part of my day to additional training that will benefit myself and others. It is this passion that has driven every one of my career decisions thus far.
