I have had the opportunity before I came to Cedar Crest College to be secretary for my high school's Orchestra. Given that experience, I learned what it was like to be a leader along with obtaining the skills I need to be a good leader. Not only was I secretary, I was on the swim team all four years of high school including a club team in middle school. In the fall of 2017, I had to stop competing, but that has not changed my love for the sport. With the experience of being on a team, I learned how to be dedicated to something and try my best no matter the circumstances. With these hobbies, I developed a skill of what it is like to be a leader, a multitasker, and commit to what it is I sign myself up for.
