Natalie Nelson

I am a senior studying Kinesiology (PrePA). I am researching in the Biomechanics laboratory under the supervision of Dr. Gillette and PhD Candidate Mitchell Stephenson. At the conclusion of the Spring 2019 semester, I will have completed and presented my Honors capstone research project, 'The Effects of Aerial Movements on Lower Extremity Injury Risk Factors.' This past semester I became an Honors student mentor, as well as a WiSE student Role Model. I stay busy working at Mary Greeley Medical Center as a Patient Care Technician on the surgical unit, and at Green Hills Retirement Community as a Resident and Home Health Aide. I am also an active member in my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. In my free time, I love spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling!
