I work for Melissa Porter, Administrative Manager at National Cancer Institute.I have written many articles and they have been published. I communicate science to the public and communicate why it is important to communicate the research and to the public. I manage the social media sites for the NCI in Frederick, Md. I have learned an abundance of skills in the internship such as organization, time management and what it is like to be in a professional setting. I help mentor he new and incoming interns along with helping organize and manage the NCI at Frederick Farmers' Market and the annual Take Your Child To Work Day. Along with all of these responsibilities I help with Education Outreach programs such as the Elementary Outreach Program.
