Nathan Archer is a Ph.D. student in the Moving Image Studies program at Georgia State Universitys School of Film, Media & Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. He researches regional film economies, transmedia storytelling, and box office measurement, with a focus on how media infrastructures shape cultural production. In addition to his doctoral work, Archer manages marketing and events for Georgia States Creative Media Industries Institute, where he develops initiatives that connect students with Atlanta's creative industries.

Managed a communications lab with an annual operating budget of $359,000 and a staff of five full-time employees and interns that specializes in the production of multimedia products and events in support of education research dissemination.
Strategically coordinated communication efforts across various channels and platforms for a diverse group of organizational stakeholders including researchers, educators, parents, faculty, students, district and state superintendents, and legislators.
Engaged with principal investigators and team leaders across numerous grants and contracts throughout the Center, the College of Education, College of Social Work, School of Communications Sciences & Disorders, and Department of Psychology to ensure the Center is promoted consistently and prominently across projects.
