I am currently an undergraduate student at Middle Tennessee State University pursuing a degree in biochemistry with a minor in agriculture. When I am not studying, I am working as an undergraduate researcher in a biology lab. My research covers topics such as food safety and control of mosquito borne diseases. Following undergraduate, I plan to pursue medical school with aspirations of becoming a physician.

Student Undergraduate Researcher at Student Undergraduate Research Experience

As an undergraduate researcher, I apply critical thinking skills as well as communication with lab peers. My research involves food and environmental safety where I use many different techniques such as microscopy, DNA extraction, and various culturing techniques.

Veterinary Technician at Cascade Veterinary Hospital

During my time as a technician, I had tremendous experience communicating animal health information to clients. In addition to client communication, I also administered vaccinations, IV cathetarization, and assisted with general exams and procedures.
