Intern at Dunn Global Ltd.
As an intern I am responsible for conducting product research and gaining information in order to price the procurement of materials and tools for an upcoming project. This includes being able to read technical drawings and being able to gain specific measurements from those drawings. This also includes the contacting of businesses associated with the materials specified in the drawings for accurate quotes, as well as doing the math to decide how much material to purchase. Precision is key as the company needs to spend as little as is possible. I have also been building a database of suppliers through brochures and catalogues received, when waiting to hear back from the companies I have been contacting.
