Served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 5 years on Active Duty and 3 years as a Reservist. I left the Marine Corps as a Sergeant (E-5). During my time as a Marine, I had the honor of serving with, leading, mentoring, and learning from an incredible number of individuals from many different walks of life. This experience taught me servant leadership, how to mentor, and the value of diversity. The Marine Corps made me the leader I always wanted to be and bolstered my passion for working with creative people, organization, mentoring and leading those around me, mission accomplishment, and the skills that are required to do so. I owe everything I am to the Marine Corps and I am proud to have served with such a distinguished organization.
