I grew up on my family's owned and operated diversified crop and livestock farm where I learned at an early age many life lessons and and strong work ethic. I have a strong passion for dairy because of my background and enjoy telling my story to others. I enjoy being involved in organizations at Iowa State where I am studying Dairy Science.

Dairy Science Club (DSC)

Responsibilities I have for Food at First is to plan a meal for the less fortunate once a month with the help of the other co-chairs. Club members along with myself prepare, serve, and clean up after the meal. Being a tri-chair of Youth Dairy Coalition I helped to plan the weekend event for kids across the state to learn different aspects about dairy and tour a dairy farm.
