I am a Chemical Engineering major with a Business minor at the University of Iowa. I will be graduating May of 2017. After graduation, I will enter the industry work force. My interests lie in consumer products and food, specifically in the production and manufacturing sectors. I strive to hold a management position in engineering so that I may utilize my strong leadership and communication skills.

Activities

Hawkeye Marching Band

I am a member of a 6 person team. Collectively, we instruct the 55 person trumpet section on a day to day basis. We teach them marching fundamentals, and communicate daily instructions with them. We act as both teachers and role models, both on and off the field.

Work Experience

Teaching Assistant at The University of Iowa

I am a teaching assistant for a Materials Science Lab. I guide the students through the experiments, and aid them in writing lab reports. I am responsible for the students' safety in the laboratory, as well as providing proper instruction.
