Thi My Ngoc Nguyen

My name is Ngoc Nguyen. Over the few years, I got involved in several on-campus clubs' executive board to improve my public speaking skills. I am the treasurer at the Transfer Student Association, for which I did presentations and wrote emails to get funding. I am the vice president at the Public Speaking Club, where I carried multiple mini-lessons on non-verbal and verbal skills of public speaking. I also gave constructive feedback for member to improve. I am applying for funding the school Parent Fund to hold the first speech contest at Georgia Tech this October. For exploring my major, I am assisting research on testing the efficiency of amine hybrid oxide, DMAPS currents, in capturing CO2. We are using the thermal gravimetric analyisis and packed bed analysis to test the materials' adsorption abilities. Currently, I am looking for a chemical engineering internship or co-op, preferably in green energy, environmental-friendly product, and oil refinery.
