Born in Ukiah, CA, I grew up fascinated by and passionate about mathematics, music, foreign languages, and running. In the last few years that I've spent in suburban Boston, I have expanded my interests coming to appreciate Buddhism, French, Arabic, bicycling, acrylic painting and backpacking. Constants throughout this dramatic change include appreciation for indie-folk and dance music, natural beauty, and vegetarianism.

I graduated with Highest Honors in 2013, with a Class Rank of 3 / 335. I didn't receive a single B on my high school transcript and I was awarded free admission to all future Ukiah High Events on the basis of my 'Outstanding Academic Achievement'.
