Jennifer Wodicka

I work in labor and delivery presently on the night shift. I'm a sepsis champion at work where I participate in making improvements to our policies and outcomes when sepsis is present in patients. I previously worked in areas such as Pediatrics, Emergency Department, and medical/surgical floors. I am a mother of 2 children and belong to my PTA at their school where I was a volunteer and served for a few years as president of the PTA and participate even now in major yearly fundraising. I am presently attending Farmingdale College full time to finish my Bachelors in Nursing. Years ago I had attended Farmingdale College and received my Associates Degree in Nursing. I had participated on the Dr.Oz show where we promoted the nursing profession and was present in the Asthma Coalition who worked with Farmingdale students to improve education and quality of care of asthmatic children in school districts to teach them preventative measures in improving their health and lower emergency room admissions. I was able to participate in Senator Gillibrands conference at Farmingdale when she spoke of a bill to help asthmatic children in the district.
