As an undergraduate student, I am very passionate about working on environmental issues in my community and learning more about how urban communities develop. My main goals in my professional life are to teach and lead people in environmental efforts which would benefit urban communities. I also hope to have more experience in research in this topic of environmental science, through observing those who live in urban areas experiencing ecological issues and injustices. I also hope to gain more experience in writing on these topics to reach the attention of the general public.
