Provide behavioral supports to teachers and students for the Exceptional Education Students (students with disabilities).
Provide mental health counseling, treatment plan development and mental health assessments as well as individual, family and group counseling sessions to general education students at Whitten Middle School in the Jackson Public School District.
Provide mental health services, individual, group and family therapy, behavioral and mental health assessments, crisis intervention plans, treatment plans and discharge planning to residential clients at the Crossing Residential Facility whom were taken into Child Protective Services and required long-term psychiatric care.
Provided individual, family and group counseling to clients with addiction and substance abuse at the New Leaf Recovery Center affiliation of Alliance Behavior Healthcare.
Supervised licensed professional counselors, case managers and direct care workers in providing mental health services to clients in a residential and school setting. Prepared monthly reporting and staff evaluations, conducted weekly staffing, prepared and participated in state auditing, prepared annual budget and operation expense reports and performed and reported daily operation reports to management.
Provide mental health services to children and adolescents in a residential and school setting. Provided individual, family and group counseling, conducted and developed community wrap-around meetings, participated in school Individual Education Plan (IEP) meetings and developed behavior support plans and treatment plans.
Provide mental health, addiction and substance abuse counseling and tele-mental health services to private practice clients to include: family, couples, individual, and group mental health counseling as well as conduct behavior and clinical mental health assessments for school age and adult clients. Also provide EAP services for private insurance companies. Accepts Medicaid and most provide insurance payers.
Supervised direct care workers in providing shelter for infant, children and youth taken into custody of Child Protective Services (CPS). Provided individual and group counseling for adolescents, prepared monthly reporting of shelter expense and operation reports to management, participated in state auditing, conducted staff training and managed day to day workloads and duties of staff and residents, prepared expense reports and participated in IEP meetings for residents as needed, ensured medical, dental and physical exams were provided as state mandated.
