Peter Gorman

As an aspiring medical professional, I am interested in the medical field focused on health, global health, public health, preventative medicine and/or community health. I seek to spread both knowledge of quality healthcare and accessible resources to underserved patients. I hope to utilize my knowledge toward preventative medicine, global health, emergency medicine or family medicine as a medical professional. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to collaborate with doctors, allied health professionals and patients, learning deeply and appreciating the quality of healthcare that people truly deserve. My background encompasses rich and varied knowledge dedicated in service and health, including drafting educational wellness programs/policies for the Legislative State of Illinois and non-profits, medical service trips to Ecuador and the Dominican Republic, and other service work. I am a goal-driven and team leader who has highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for generating workable solutions with exemplary planning and organizational skills, along with a high degree of detail orientation who is ready to improve the lives and health of people everywhere! I believe the study of medicine is a powerful integration of science, technologies, experience, and experiment that enables medical professionals to improve the human condition. I am eager to discover how I will change the fabric of medicine, science, and society.
