Peter Swanson

I just finished my masters in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech and also earned a certificate in Management of Technology. Previous to going to graduate school I worked for the Georgia Tech Research Institute as a software engineer for various government projects. The two projects I have spent most of my time on, FACE and IBESS, have received large national attention in the news media (see the articles below) and are growing rapidly because of their success and wide-scale impact on military technology. Previous to this employment, I worked on various embedded computing systems and HPC systems. I was contracted by the department of energy's ITER fusion project to design the first fail-safe security system for the power plant.
