For someone who almost flunked High School, I think I'm doing pretty good here at "The Valley." I suppose the real difference is in the amount of fun I have. I love coming to school and discovering new classes and new directions for my life. I am super proud of what I am doing here and I'll be sad when I graduate.

Animal Outreach Club

This club has been a total field trip through public administration, management, and diplomacy. I really, really liked everything I have had a chance to do with this club from smoothing the wrinkles on how we do things, to eliminating any false perceptions about us, raising money for charities, and teaching my fellow classmates that animal rescue is a lot more than just petting kittens.

Volunteer

I have been volunteering at the Berkshire Bird Sanctuary (www.birdparadise.org) for many years. At the sanctuary I will landscape and maintain the enclosures of several of the birds of prey and I will also feed them at times as well. I interacted directly with Golden Eagles, Red-Tailed Hawks, Turkey Vultures, the rescued Steppe Eagle from Afghanistan (Mitch), and many Pigeons of various breeds. I also run their Instagram and make YouTube videos.
