1. Developed variant calling pipelines for processing next-generation and nanopore sequencing DNA and RNA datasets and determined the functional significance of the mutations
2. Researched, evaluated and analyzed tools to develop new approaches for variant calling for nanopore datasets based on statistical quality and performance metrics on real and simulated datasets
3. Conducted independent data analysis and generated reports as per specifications
