- Created a new position, layout, and standard work to increase on-time delivery and add three hours per
shift of freight handler picking time.
- Updated five plant floor Heijunka Boards and introduced ten new Tracking Boards to increase on-time
delivery metrics, scheduling, and visual controls to assist in reducing overdue parts from 147 to 20.
- Created a new layout and implemented an organizational strategy to better handle 6000+ lines a day.
- Established and conducted a test revealing the root cause of a problem that will aid in reducing overall
scrap by 20%.

Ergonomics (Spring 2017) (Classwork)- Worked on a team of five engineers to provide an ergonomic improvement to a plant located in Dubuque, IA. - Created a new layout to minimize lifting and maximize efficiency. - Utilized already existing space and material, had zero expenditures, and received the highest grade out of 12 teams.
Web Design (Spring 2017) (Classwork)Created a website with a team of four engineers that acted as an online library allowing users to create an account, see current inventory availability, check out products, and view their order history. Received highest grade out of 15 teams.
Thermodynamics Software (Spring 2016) (Classwork)Utilized Interactive Thermodynamics to code a program that solved all aspects of a Carnot Cycle.
Human Factors (Fall 2017) (Classwork)- Created a prototype application that takes a customer’s grocery list, maps the fastest path through the grocery store. Reducing human error, increasing efficiency and customer satisfaction. - Each shopping cart would be attached with a smart device that allows users to sign in to their account and use their pre-loaded grocery list. - Each shopping cart would contain advertisements based off the pre-loaded grocery list and statistics on the average grocery shopper, allowing the company to cover expenses of purchasing the cart.
Operations Research (Fall 2017) (Classwork)- Conducted a Portfolio Optimization using real stock data on eight companies - Using the real stock data I personally created Excel calculations; reported the optimal weight/proportion of each stock and the mean (expected value) and variance of the return for the optimal portfolio.
