Weight Bias and its Occlusion of Gender Identity Development in Transgender Individuals
This session will look at weight bias's complex role in shaping transgender identity development based on the findings of our mixed methods study. The goal is for counselors to gain nuanced insights into ethical and culturally responsive counseling practices. Ideally to be published February/March 2025.
