Majoring in Sociology, Minoring in Communication & Religious Theological Studies
Merrimack College, Class of 2020
From Kingston, MA
I am Junior at Merrimack College in North Andover and majoring in Sociology. Last year I declared a minor in Religious Theological Studies and this year I declared a second minor in Communications. During the spring semester this year, I accepted an intern position in as a Volunteer Programming Intern at the New England Aquarium! At Merrimack College, I am a current Member and former Treasurer of the Austin Scholars Living Learning Community, and I am also a football, basketball and competition cheerleader. My year service project through Austin Scholars for the past three years is volunteering two hours a week as a teaching assistant at the St. Louis Academy in Leominster. Last year I traveled with my cheerleading squad to compete in the National Cheerleaders Association events held in Rhode Island and Daytona Beach, Florida. Dance, sports and drama have always been a part of my life. I was a dancer for 15 years and was a four-year member of the studio's dance competition team which performed two times at Disney Springs in Florida. Throughout my high school years, I was a member of SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and played varsity volleyball, basketball cheerleading and softball.
