I helped manage "The Voice" concert at my high school during my senior year. 3 former performers from The Voice came to my school to perform and give students the chance to perform with them. I worked the auditions for the students, met with the 3 voice contestants and got to know them very well, set up instruments, went to all of the rehearsals, helped comfort the high school performers when they were nervous, worked backstage, and got many people involved for the show. This was my first big step in the music industry.
I was interviewed by the Hartford Courant during this job. http://www.courant.com/community/manchester/hc-the-manchester-voice-20150428-009-photo.html
