Ralph Figueroa, CRC

I am a U.S. Army Veteran, proudly serving my country from 1994 to 2006. I serve as the 5th District Commissioner & Committee Chair of the San Bernardino County Veterans Advisory Committee. In May 2022, I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. In May 2025, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Counseling from California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. As part of my master's program, I also passed the certification exam and have been officially recognized by the CRCC as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC). In January 2025, I was honored by Student Veterans of America (SVA) when I was named the 2024 National Student Veteran of the Year. In 2024, I received the prestigious John Edelman Scholars Scholarship and the Phi Kappa Phi "Love of Learning" Scholarship. During my time as a graduate student, I served as President of the CSUSB Student Veterans Organization (SVO). In April 2024, at the CSUSB OSLE Awards, the SVO was awarded "Club of the Year," and I received the award for "Outstanding Student Club Leader." In 2023, I was one of 32 student veterans selected nationwide as a recipient of the "Student Veteran Leadership Award" by G.I. Jobs Magazine. I am a proud Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society member and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 12 in San Bernardino, CA.
