Since my hiring in 2014 I have been promoted from Hostess, to Server Assistant, to Server and finally to Banquet Captain. As Banquet Captain I have been responsible for: Delegating certain tasks to an average of 4 servers during dinner services for large parties Working directly with event hosts, addresses customer concerns and provides the final bill Assisting patrons in selecting specialty beverages Maintaining extensive knowledge on current food and beverage items Entertaining high profile patrons while maintaining a level of professionalism Completing daily administrative work such as taking reservations, rolling silverware and greeting customers
