Renee Vanhorn

Majored in Business Management, Minored in Honor Roll
University of North Georgia, Class of 2019
From Marietta, GA
I am currently a member of the women's soccer team at the University of North Georgia - one of the top DII women's soccer programs in the nation. My major is Business Management. I will be graduating with a honors degree which means that I maintained a GPA above a 3.20 out of 4.00, completed a certain number of honors classes, and created a thesis project. Between school and athletics, I spend my time working as the President of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee at UNG and the Chair of the Peach Belt Conference SAAC. This allows me to function as a direct line between student-athletes and the UNG athletic department. I am also head of the fundraising committee for SAAC and our fundraising efforts go towards Make-A-Wish Georgia. Some of my academic honors and awards include: President's List University of North Georgia, Recipient, 2016-present HOPE Scholarship, Recipient, 2015-present Peach Belt Conference Presidential Honor Roll, Recipient, 2015-present The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Secretary, 2016-2017 Peach Belt Conference All-Academic Team, 2016-present United Soccer Coaches All-Conference Team, 2017
