Clinical Observer at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital
I shadow nurses in the Critical Care Unit, which include observing the obligations and duties of each nurse, as well as direct patient care. In addition to this, I join morning rounds, where each member of the unit- Nurses, Mid-Level Physicians and Attending Physicians, Dietitians, and Pharmacists convene to discuss and administer treatment plans for each patient on the floor, as well as learn from the nurses I shadow, where they teach anatomical and physiological functions of the heart and how it affects the human body.
