Rachel Loyd

My Name is Rachel Loyd. I am 39 years old. I have been marred for 21 years to my husband Doug Loyd. Together we have 3 boys, Tucker age 20, Hunter are 18 and Tyler age 15. We have been foster parents for the last five years and we adopted a sibling group of three girls. There were are very first placement and we fell in love with them. Our Daughters are Ashlyn age 14, Olivia age 12 and Kayla age 11. Our adoption was final in December of 2017. We are still active foster parents and currently foster a 5 year old little girl. Together we are making the world a better place by impacting children in our community. Our adoptive family was selected to be extras in the movie "Instant Family." We filmed in Atlanta. You can find us in the adoption fair scene. There were just a few real adoptive families selected in the state of Georgia to be extras in the movie. It was a fun experience for all. I currently work for Union County Schools full time as a Pre-k assistant teacher. I have worked for Union County Schools for seven years now. I love what I do and impacting the lives of children. I can't believe that I have made the Merit list working full time and having 7 children living in my home. What an honor. If I can do this so can anyone else.
