Ross Bachiller

Summary of Profile Mr. Ross has taken up the role of Information Services Specialist since 22nd May 2023 at the Truman Bodden Law School of the Portfolio of Legal Affais, Cayman Islands Government. He is responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the law school library, providing support to both faculty and students while performing other administrative duties that contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation of the law school. Mr. Ross has over 20 years library management and archives and records management experience and holds a bachelor and masters degree in Library and Information Science (LIS) from the University of the Philippines. He had work in the following organizations holding different positions: 1) Library Section Chief at the Philippines.Commission on Audit; 2) Medical Librarian World Health Organization (WHO) Western Pacific Regional Office (WPRO) Library; 3) Administrative Office IV at the Office of the Special Prosecutor-Office of the Ombudsman; 4) Political Affairs Officer (Legislative Staff) at the Office of Cong. Carlos O. Cojuangco-House of Representatives; 5) Information System Analyst III /Records Officer III at the Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support (ARISP)-II Project-funded by Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC); 6) Assistant Film Archivist ABS-CBN Film Archives; 7) Technical Library Staff at the Technical/Computer Services-University of the Philippines Main Library-Technical Services; 8) Archives and Records Assistant at the University Archives and Records Depository (UARD), University of the Philippines Main Library-Diliman; and Consultant at the Philippine Red Cross, Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP), Educational Systems Technological Institute (ESTI), DSM Manila LLC, Center for Empowerment and Resource Development, (CERD), Inc.
